Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: April 29, 2026
FireBreath respects your right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of your data at any time using any of the methods below.
Option 1: Delete Your Account (Self-Service)
You can delete your personal account directly from the FireBreath app:
- Log in to your account at firebreath.app
- Go to Settings
- Select Account
- Click Delete Account
This permanently deletes your personal account, including your profile information, workspace memberships, personal API keys, and stored connected-account access tied to your user. If deleting your account would leave a workspace with no members, FireBreath requires you to download or waive the workspace export first.
Empty workspaces enter a 90-day closure/export window before retained workspace data becomes eligible for purge. Personal account deletion is still processed separately and is not delayed by the workspace closure window.
Option 2: Email Request
Send a data deletion request to support@firebreath.app with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your FireBreath account. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion by email.
What We Delete
When you request data deletion, we permanently remove:
- Your user profile and account credentials
- Connected social media access tokens tied to your user
- Workspace-only content after the applicable workspace retention/export window
- Workspace membership and role information
- API keys and MCP server configurations
What We Retain
We may retain anonymized, aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you (e.g., total post counts for platform statistics). We may also retain records required by law, such as billing transaction records, for the legally mandated retention period. Workspace closure exports remain self-service for 90 days when a workspace is closed, unless export is legally or security-blocked.
Third-Party Platforms
Deleting your FireBreath account does not delete content that was published to third-party social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, etc.). To delete content on those platforms, use each platform's own tools.
FireBreath will revoke all stored OAuth tokens for connected platforms during account deletion, disconnecting our access to your social media accounts.
