Connect your LinkedIn profile to publish text posts and image posts. FireBreath uses standard OAuth 2.0 (3-legged) authentication. LinkedIn tokens last approximately 60 days before needing re-authorization.
How to Connect
- 1Go to Accounts and click "Connect Account".
- 2Select LinkedIn from the provider list.
- 3Authorize FireBreath via the LinkedIn OAuth flow.
- 4Grant the requested permissions (openid, profile, w_member_social).
- 5You will be redirected back to FireBreath with your account connected.
Permissions Required
- openid — OpenID Connect authentication
- profile — Read your basic profile information
- w_member_social — Create and manage posts on your behalf

Troubleshooting
My token expired and posts are failing.
LinkedIn tokens last about 60 days. Reconnect your LinkedIn account from the Accounts page to refresh the token.
Image upload fails.
LinkedIn uses a two-step image upload process (initialize then binary upload). Ensure your image is under 10 MB and in a supported format (JPEG, PNG, GIF).
