YouTube
Connect your YouTube channel to upload videos and Shorts from FireBreath. FireBreath can also sync recent channel uploads and surface video-level performance metrics.
How to Connect
- 1Go to Accounts and click "Connect Account".
- 2Select YouTube from the provider list.
- 3Authorize FireBreath with your Google account.
- 4Grant the requested YouTube permissions and return to FireBreath.
- 5Your primary YouTube channel will be connected automatically.
Permissions Required
- youtube.upload — Upload videos to your channel
- youtube.readonly — Read channel videos for sync and analytics
- youtube.force-ssl — Required for comment-management and channel operations
- userinfo.profile / userinfo.email — Identify the connected Google account

YouTube uses a separate Google OAuth client from Google Business Profile.
Troubleshooting
Connection succeeds but no channel appears.
The Google account must already have a YouTube channel. If the account has never created a channel, YouTube will authorize successfully but FireBreath cannot connect it until a channel exists.
Uploads fail with quota or permission errors.
YouTube Data API quota is limited. Video uploads are quota-heavy, so verify your Google project still has quota available and that the app keeps youtube.upload enabled.
